Classic rock enthusiasts, we have some news that’ll be music to your ears. An innovative sea-bound music club created in collaboration with Rolling Stone, the all-new Rolling Stone Rock Room will see passengers aboard the Nieuw Statendam ship from Holland America Line experience rock history in action – while at sea.

The club will open as part of the Music Walk area on the ship, which will join the fleet in Decelember 2018.

Orlando Ashford, president of Holland America Line, has said, “Classic rock appeals to people across generations because the music is universal, and Rolling Stone Rock Room will bring another incredible live music venue to our ships.”

A five-piece band will play a collection of hits inspired by the magazine’s top song lists. And, in addition to Rolling Stone Rock Room on Nieuw Statendam, venues on the Music Walk will include the Lincoln Center Stage, Billboard Onboard and B.B. King’s Blues Club.
