Housed in a 15th century palazzo in Rome’s historic centre, just steps from the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain, Six Senses hotel has opened its doors to a stay like no other. While you may be just minutes from the Eternal City’s most iconic tourist attractions, this hotel has been designed as a sanctuary, offering guests a calming and tranquil space to recuperate before hitting the sites.

Staying true to its roots, ancient Roman building materials like cocciopesto, travertine and triclinium-style marble are featured throughout the hotel’s 96 guest rooms and suites. Many of the rooms include courtyard views and suites facing the bustling Via del Corso and neighbouring San Marcello al Corso Church, perfect for the history buffs.

Those in search of a good night’s sleep will find it here. The Sleep With Six Senses standard means that mattresses are homemade and organic and all bedding is made from 100% cotton. Plus, additional amenities are provided to promote a good night’s sleep. Tired bodies should also make a trip to the spa. The 60-minute Roman bathing circuit is a modern-day take on the ancient ritual, reproducing the calidarium, tepidarium, and frigidarium to reduce inflammation and muscle recovery by heating the body up and then cooling it down. It is a sociable and immersive experience for balancing mind and body. There’s also a hammam, meditation rooms and outdoor yoga deck.

Head up to NOTOS Rooftop for an Empire-inspired, five-course tasting menu with Sicilian touches. Buon appetito
