All aboard the wellness train.
The Royal Scotsman, A Belmond Train, Scotland, went straight to the top of our bucket list earlier this year when it was announced two new Grand Suites were going to be added to the sleeper train in May 2024. So, it’s not like we needed another reason to jump aboard the luxury train, but we’ve been given one anyway. It comes in the form of a luxurious Dior Spa.
Dior Beauty have partnered with Royal Scotsman, A Belmond Train, Scotland to create Dior Spa Royal Scotsman. As of April 10, one of the trains plush carriages will be given the Dior treatment as two treatment rooms will be styled with the fashion house’s iconic burgundy toil de Jouy motif, which fans of the brand will be able to instantly recognise.

The spa will be a cocoon of serenity for travellers making their way through Scotland’s dramatic landscape. Three tailor-made treatments curated by the French Maison’s wellness experts will be on the menu that incorporate elements of the Scottish surroundings.

The D-Travel body massage is designed to purify the body of toxins and release tensions. D-Elements full body treatment aims to relax the body and mind through massage and finished with Dior body mist and hot oshibori (hot towels) that recreate the country’s drifting mists. Lastly, the D-Highlands is inspired by Kobido (a natural face lifting technique originating from Japan) facial massage techniques and sculpts facial features and improves skin’s appearance. Combine this with outdoor wellness activities like wild swimming, hiking and farm-to-table dining, this is our kind of wellness holiday.
