Rottnest Island will soon be home to new luxury accommodation, with Samphire Rottnest now taking bookings for its opening in October 2020.

Named for the native Samphire plant, the exclusive new accommodation is set among one of the country’s most incredible protected natural wonders. It promises a relaxed, coastal vibe, lagoon-like pools and stylish al fresco eats that make the most of the island’s beautiful views and idyllic Mediterranean climate.

Taking up residence in a prime position on Thomson Bay, nestled alongside the iconic Hotel Rottnest, the new property will bring 80 new guest rooms to the island, each with its own private balcony offering expansive views across the water.

Created by the group behind some of the WA’s most sought-after addresses – like the Cottesloe Beach Hotel, Sandalford Wines and Tradewinds Hotel in Fremantle – it aims to deliver understated beachside luxury that will help visitors to fall in love with Rottnest Island’s unique beauty and lifestyle.

The interiors by Perth architecture firm Christou Design Group promise a effortless colour palette, natural materials and an aesthetic that embraces the island’s unique natural beauty.

Guests can expect a range of new dining experiences, including a Beach Club, lounge, indoor/outdoor dining hub and stylish poolside eats.
