Central Coast will welcome a shiny new hotel this summer. Come December 1, voco Gosford and The Archibald Precinct will officially open to the public. The towering hotel will open the doors to 130 guest rooms that are vibrant, light-filled and offer sweeping views of the city and bay.

Guests will be able to spend days lounging by the podium-level swimming pool, where there is a swim-up bar, or recharge their batteries at the onsite wellness centre. Along with the new hotel comes a whole new precinct to discover. There are six exciting and distinctive dining experiences to try out.
Astra is the jewel in the crown. Perched on Level 28 of voco Gosford, Astra will be the Central Coast’s highest rooftop bar and Japanese inspired izakaya. The menu has been curated by the Michelin star-trained Executive Chef Maxime Chasseriaud together with Sous Chef Harry Cho. Expect dishes that are created with Japanese technique, but cooked over fire. A hibachi grill fueled with premium binchōtan charcoal is used to sear meats and seafood before finishing them in a charcoal oven ensuring food is juicy and packed with smoky umami flavour.

Feeling hungry? There’s plenty more to bite into. The Archibald Precinct will be home to Ironbark, which will serve up a curated menu of modern Australian cuisine and pub classics cooked over the custom-made wood fire grill, and Paolo’s, which will bring a taste of Italy to the precinct thanks to a menu made up of hand-rolled pasta, trattoria-style dishes and wood-fired pizza. Delish!
