Near, far, wherever you are, you don’t want to miss this exhibition.
Titanic is one of the most famous tragedies in modern history. Its ill-fated maiden voyage has inspired a blockbuster film and continues to intrigue people more than 110 years since she sank to the bottom of the ocean.
If you’ve always wanted to know more about the Titanic, beyond that of Jack and Rose’s story, now is your chance. The Melbourne Museum’s Titanic: The Artefact Exhibition is the only exhibition in Australia to feature more than 200 real artefacts, recovered directly from the wreck site.

The exhibition will share compelling human stories of the passengers and crew members aboard the ship, from the beginning of the memorable journey through to the fateful night of Titanic’s sinking.
Learn about the ship’s innovative engineering, touch an iceberg that is the same temperature as the freezing waters of the North Atlantic Ocean that night, and experience life onboard through full-scale recreations of the ship’s interiors – including the iconic Grand Staircase.

Melbourne is gearing up for a stellar summer of exhibitions and shows with the BBC Earth Experience visual exhibition and Monopoly theme park both opening this month. So pop them in your calendar before you miss out.
Titanic: The Artefact Exhibition will run from December 16, 2023 – April 14, 2024. Adult admission tickets are $32.50 and child admission tickets are $18. For more information ot to book tickets, visit museumsvictoria.com.au
