Hicks, whose designs also adorned the Gucci summer t-shirt collection this year, has designed the gift card with her trademark wit and charm, featuring a hand-drawn hotel lobby scene.
“It was such an enjoyable open brief and a chance to have some fun with all things travel – who isn’t a hotel lover at heart?” says Hicks, “for anyone who gets a gift card in their stocking this year, I hope it gets them excited about their getaway.”
To further inspire art-lovers across the globe, Hicks has shared her hand-picked hotlist of the best creative escapes and, to tie in with the gift card, she has also produced a short animation using the same design.
