Travelled recently? It’s as sure of a thing as seeing the Eiffel Tower in Paris that you spotted a fellow traveller or two with a Uniqlo travel bag slung across their torso. The viral sensation has become a staple for practical travellers. It’s light, it’s comfortable, it holds your phone, wallet and passport with space to spare. How does it get better than that?

Cue: Marimekko. Unqilo has teamed up with Marimekko for a limited-edition collection. The Finnish design house has lended its signature print and design to some of Uniqlo’s cult classics. Heattech socks and turtlenecks, as well as fleece skirts and jackets, have been given the Marimekko treatment. But the item we’ve got our eye on is the travel bag, which now features the signature Marimekko Kivet (stones) print. 

At the moment, this limited-edition collection is only available in the Northern Hemisphere, but you can sign up to a waitlist to get notified when it drops in Australia.
