AFL fans we have some good news for you. Fellow AFL lovers and the official airline of the AFL and AFLW, Virgin Australia, has just launched a sale to help get fans to the AFL Grand Final next weekend without having to break the bank. The Footy Fans Sale is slinging fares as low as $199 one-way Economy to Melbourne. 

The Aussie airline is set to operate 14,000 additional seats across key Melbourne routes next week in comparison to 2022. The sale fares come as travel demand from the AFL community has soared over the past week, making it possible for more fans to witness their team in action next weekend at the AFL Grand Final. 

Here are the one-way Economy sale fares for travel between 25 September 2023 and 5 October 2023:

• Launceston to Melbourne from $119
• Adelaide to Melbourne from $129
• Hobart to Melbourne from $139
• Sydney to Melbourne from $139
• Brisbane to Melbourne from $159
• Perth to Melbourne from $329
