If you love a bargain, then we have some good news for you. In a first for Virgin Australia, its Velocity Frequent Flyer loyalty program will open a store on Melbourne’s famed Chapel Street this Saturday for just 24 hours (or until sold-out) as part of its new rewards initiative. 

In exchange for just 1 Velocity Point (yes, you read that right) Melburnians will be able to score domestic flights as well as coveted items from brands including Dyson, Apple, Weber, adidas and more. The special one-day-only pop-up store is promoting Velocity’s 1 Point Rewards initiative, which will officially launch online nationally this Sunday, June 11.

In layman’s terms, from this weekend Virgin Australia will be giving away domestic and international flights, plus household items from brands like Dyson and Apple, for just 1 Velocity Point. They will only be available at undisclosed times in limited drops once a week, across four weeks. You can read more about that here.
