Live your best Diane Lane-inspired life.
It may have been 15 years since its release but Under the Tuscan Sun still holds a special place in the heart of Diane Lane fans everywhere (and romantics for that matter). The dreamy Italian escapade inspired many of us to move to an abandoned villa in Tuscany, only for reality to get in the way. But now you can relive the best moments of Under the Tuscan Sun for yourself albeit temporarily with the villa it was filmed in now being available to rent.
The luxury Villa Laura (dubbed Villa Bramasole in the film) was recently renovated, incorporating a handful of modern amenities to make any stay here a comfortable one. Despite a revamp, the 17th-century villa has managed to maintain its original structure and charm, and can accommodate 20 of your kin thanks to its 10 bedrooms and 10-and-a-half bathrooms.
Villa Laura sits in the town of Cortona, neighbouring Lake Trasimeno, and also boasts main house, a farmhouse, and a limonaia (greenhouse for citrus) on the grounds. Within the main house you’ll also find the modern luxuries of a fireplace, a wine cellar, a home theatre, and a game room.

The garden to the villa is equally expansive; there is a hammock, a pool, a Bocce court, and an outdoor dining area for lounging, as well as a pizza oven for fans of Italian cuisine.
Villa Laura is available for weekly rental throughout the year. The property can be booked online.
