Shrek has left his swamp to Donkey and Donkey being the social creature he is, is inviting guests from near and far, far away to make like an ogre in Shrek’s Swamp, which is exclusively listed on Airbnb. 

Located among the hills of the Scottish Highlands, Shrek’s Swamp looks like it’s been plucked straight from the Dreamworks film. The stumpy, secluded haven is fitted out with exact replicas of the ‘Beware Ogre’ sign, Shrek’s bed and the iconic outhouse from the movie. Even the exterior is shaped like the cut-off tree trunk Shrek has fashioned as a home in the film. 

So how do Shrek fans score a stay here? Airbnb is has listed the swampy stay for $0 and those wishing to stay will be able to request to book an exclusive two-night swamp stay for up to three guests from October 27-29. The secluded swamp-scape will allow guests to relax in the ambiance of earwax candlelight, indulge in parfait (everybody likes parfait!), swap stories around the fire until late, munch on a stack of freshly made waffles and enjoy the ultimate privacy of Shrek’s outhouse.
