But why?
Oreo and Coca-Cola have teamed up for the unholy union that no one asked for. Coming this September is not one but two Coca-Cola x Oreo products: Coca-Cola-flavoured Oreos and Oreo-flavoured Coca-Cola.
You may be thinking ‘Why on Earth would anyone think that this was a good idea?’ and that is a fair question! The collaboration is here in the name of friendship. Because we support our BFFs. No matter how unhinged their decisions may be.
Early reports from the US say that the Oreo has two unique biscuits – a classic chocolate that contains Coca-Cola syrup, and a red-coloured biscuit embossed with the Coca-Cola logo – stuffed with Oreo cream. The biscuits are filled with popping candy to replicate the fizz of a fresh Coca-Cola.
As for the bevvie, we can expect the classic taste of a Coca-Cola with hints of chocolate-vanilla Oreo.
Much to everyone’s relief, the Oreo-Coca-Cola mash-up will be available for a limited time only, with the duo hitting stores across Australia on September 9.

Are Oreos vegan?
For the most part, yes! Most Oreo flavours contain no animal products at all – even the creamy stuffing is usually dairy-free. We don’t have full details of the Oreo x Coca-Cola ingredients yet so make sure you check the label if you’re unsure.
