What a time to be alive.
It’s been a huge few months for Cadbury. First Caramilk happened. Then Marble. Now, they’ve announced a new Vegan Not-Dairy Milk chocolate.
That’s right, Cadbury is soon to release their first-ever plant-based block, which promises to be a game-changer for vegan and lactose-free movie nights everywhere.
But don’t get excited just yet. Cadbury’s parent company Mondelēz has admitted that they’ve been working on the recipe for two years now and still haven’t managed to get it just right and they won’t release the block until it’s absolutely ready.
Initially, the plan was to launch the plant-based block for Veganuary this year but it’s been pushed back indefinitely.
In the meantime, Mars has already created a vegan version of its Galaxy chocolate block range which will launch in the UK this year.
