Your late night kebab stop just got a serious upgrade.

Paddington’s dining scene is about to get a major Middle Eastern boost as the highly-acclaimed Jimmy’s Falafel is gearing up to open its second venue in the eastern suburbs neighbourhood.

Anticipation is high as the new eatery, known for its fast-paced service and totally delicious Middle Eastern cuisine, is set to open its doors on Oxford Street mid-2024.

The new venue is just a stone’s throw from other Merivale spots Fred’s and Charlie Parkers, and in close proximity to both The Paddington and Saint Peter. With a prime spot like this, the new Jimmy’s Falafel is bound to become a hotspot for locals and visitors alike.

Jimmy’s Falafel has already garnered a huge number of fans with its flagship George Street venue and while the complete menu is yet to be finalised, patrons can expect much of the usual fare from head chef Simon Zalloua. Among the much-loved offerings will be the signature pillowy pitas stuffed with falafel, sharp and fresh pickles and vegetables, whole roasted lamb shoulders and chargrilled beef cuts.

The new venue will introduce a handful of exclusive dishes and will feature a bar. While details are still thin on the ground, if it’s anything like the OG Jimmy’s, this Paddington outpost is bound to be a hit.

Jimmy’s Falafel will open on Oxford Street, Paddington mid-2024.
