The Abercrombie is proving that it still knows how to party with the launch of a new late-night wine bar and bottle store.

After you’ve visited Casa Rosa and checked out the new public bar, beer garden and club, head next door to Lil Sis for a late-night wine and snacks, matched to a French lounge soundtrack.

Pile into one of the chic leather booths or join the communal tasting table, where you can sample your way around the globe-trotting wine list curated by former Monopole head sommelier Zoe Brunton.

“The idea behind Lil Sis is to showcase and share producers and wine regions we are excited about from all over the world. Some may be familiar, and some we believe you should get to know,” explains Brunton.

“We focus on producers that are organic, biodynamic and focus on sustainability as a whole. Winemakers that are passionate of their terroir and make wine that speak of their place. Most of the wines will be by the glass for those wanting to venture through and explore. We want the list to be fun, approachable, and diverse in its offering.”

But first, line your stomach with something delicious from the menu. There’s an impressive charcuterie selection that includes local cheeses, LP’s cured meats and conservas like Ortiz anchovies and mussels escabeche.

If it’s carby comfort you’re after, they also put together a mean Heinz spaghetti and cheddar jaffle to save you from making one yourself at home later.

Lil Sis will stay open until 3am after which time you can always pick up a few bottles of wine and take the party back to your house (until The Abercrombie opens again in the morning, that is).
