Lune Croissanterie confirms new Sydney location at the historic Rosebery Engine Yards

Lune Croissants

EVERYBODY STAY CALM.

Lune Croissanterie, the Melbourne-based pastry phenomenon, has been teasing its Sydney launch for years and today has announced the new home of its permanent digs.

The original plan to open a bricks and mortar bakery in new Darlinghurst development Oxford & Foley has been axed due to unforeseen delays in construction, and the Lune team have set their sights on Rosebery, securing a site in the historic Rosebery Engine Yards.

In a statement, Lune founder Kate Reid said, “Due to unforeseen delays with Darlinghurst, we’ve shifted to a new location in order to keep our plans on track and honour our commitment to bring the Lune experience to Sydney in 2024. The Rosebery site aligns perfectly with our vision, and we’re excited to have that opening in sight.”

The new Rosebery venue, a striking heritage Sydney site, echoes the industrial nature of Lune’s iconic Fitzroy flagship in Melbourne, and provides the perfect canvas for the croissanterie’s acclaimed architectural interior. Lune’s second venue at Metro Martin Place, remains on track to open in 2024 too, so you can get our mitts on a Lune croissant no matter where you are in Sydney.

At time of writing, there is no official launch date however as the Rosebery venue is well established and fitted out for leaseholders, we reckon it’s worth forming an orderly line as soon as possible.

Lune Sydney will open soon at Rosebery Engine Yards 115/151 Dunning Ave, Rosebery.
