Cult Brisbane salad haven Botanica welcomes a third outpost

Botanica Real Food

Camp Hill residents you're in for a treat.

For Brisbane residents nobody does salad quite like Botanica. Launched by former personal chefs (and husband-and-wife team) Ali and Brett Hutley, the intimate stores offer locals a curated array of hearty salads, veggie-laden quiches, and sweet treats, all largely gluten and dairy-free.

Think heaped bowls of green rice-shredded cauliflower, broccoli, brown rice and sharp coriander dressing, or the Cypriot grain salad of lentils, quinoa, freekah, currants, capers, herbs, sunflower seeds, almonds and lemon dressing. Then there’s the chickpeas with roasted carrots, coriander, nigella seeds, pickled onion and fragrant cashew curry dressing, oh and a particularly adored vegan brownie topped with coconut caramel.

Now having launched two successful outposts in Brisbane’s Red Hill and Teneriffe, Botanica’s popularity is such that the petite foodie den has just opened a third outlet. Currently under construction, Botanica’s latest offering is settled in the Southside’s Camp Hill, in the Camp Hill Marketplace complex.

The family-run business announced its latest addition to its 28,000-strong Instagram following. “We’ve been keeping a little (huge) secret. Botanica is coming…to the Southside. We can not wait to join the @camphillmarketplace family and bring our beautiful real food to our friends over the bridge.”

Little is known of the third venture just yet but here’s hoping the vegan brownies make an appearance.
