If anyone sees any reason why nuggets should not be served at a wedding, speak now or forever hold your peace.
Today in the world of ‘is nothing sacred?’ McDonald’s is trialling a wedding menu and it might be coming to Australia.
First launched in Jakarta, Indonesia last week, the McDonald’s wedding catering package is designed specifically for those lovers who can’t bear the thought of tying the knot without a stash of nuggets on hand.
The options include 100 chicken burgers and 100 boxes of nuggets or 100 cheeseburgers and 100 chicken fingers, and it’ll only set you back $350AUD.
The Instagram post reads “McD’ers, let’s make your wedding moment more memorable” and we’re damn sure this kind of catering would keep tongues talking for years to come.
To clarify, the McDonald’s catering package is not inclusive of a wedding venue, but the Jakarta Maccas can bring the experience to you by setting up a food stand at your loved-up nuptials for a few bucks extra.
If enough people say “I McDo!” during the Indonesian trial, the wedding package could become a fixture around the globe.
