There's a new Christmas dessert in town.
Move over trifle, pudding and pavlova. This year, we’re skipping tradition in favour of festively-flavoured Christmas lamingtons.
The fine folks from Tokyo Lamington have just released a new Christmas range inspired by the classic yuletide desserts.
Alongside Tokyo Lamington favourites like Yuzu Meringue and Fairy Bread, new festive additions include Gingerbread, Rocky Road, Brandy Pudding, Peach Trifle and Candy Cane.
Plus, this year they’ve also released an Umeshu Fruit Mince Tart, made from boozy plums brewed with mixed fruit, brown sugar and Choya Golden Ume Fruit Liqueur wrapped in buttery shortcrust pastry.

Gift them to your lammo-loving friends or make them the centrepiece of your Christmas table. Just make sure you have enough. Gift boxes are available for $42 for a half dozen, $84 for a dozen and $95 for a Mega Pack of 15. You can find the new range at both the Newtown (Sydney) and Carlton (Vic) stores.
