In queso you missed it, The Courty is now serving nachos in a can

Mexi-can food, like you've never had it before.

Canned food has made a big comeback in recent years, but one restaurant is taking the tin-based trend to a whole new level.

In queso you missed it, the Courthouse Hotel in Newtown has launched a giant Can O’ Nachos, chock full of corn chips, chilli con carne, sour cream, guacamole and jalapenos. To serve, the can is gently lifted, allowing the contents to empty out the bottom in a giant cheesy landslide.

And if that wasn’t obscene enough, the dish is served with a gravy boat of liquid cheese that you can smother on top.

Diners can choose from four base fillings including chilli beef, spicy black bean, smashed chilli chickpea and BBQ pulled pork, with the option to add on extras like tomato salsa.

The Courty Can O’ Nachos is priced at $35 and is designed to share between two to four people. It’s available on the Courthouse Hotel food menu every day of the week.
