Settle in for sunset cocktails on the sand.
A second waterfront restaurant has docked at The Spit in Sydney. Slotting opposite the famed Ormeggio comes St Siandra, an Amalfi Coast-inspired diner set against the sparkling waters of Middle Harbour.
Start your day the Italian way with a St Dreux cappuccino and pastry from Seaforth Staple Bakery for breakfast or settle in for a long leisurely breakfast of fresh fruit and granola or smashed avo and feta on toast.

Head chef Sam McCallum (formerly of Nomad) has put together the all-day menu which stars Mediterranean-style share plates designed to be enjoyed in the sun. Pretend you’re in Positano with burrata with blood orange preserve, grilled Clarence River octopus, or freshly-made casarecce with butternut pumpkin and pecorino pangrattato.
The Amalfi Coast-inspired interiors embrace the sunny shades of the southern Italian coastline with a lemon-hued dining room, terracotta tiling and an elegant white marble bar, with flourishing olive trees to set the scene.

Swing by for sunset cocktails. There are spritz cocktails on tap or pop a chilled bottle of Laurent-Perrier to share amongst friends.
St Siandra takes its name from the famous Middle Harbour-based boat which won the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race in the ’50s. Fittingly, the restaurant also has two private moorings should you choose to arrive via boat.
St Siandra opens on March 9.
