This is not a drill – tubs of Gelato Messina’s most popular flavours are coming to a freezer aisle near you. That’s right! No more queuing while the group in front of you tries endless samples and earns their special place in hell. Your grocery shop just got that much more delicious

The 475ml tubs are available in six epic flavours, which means there’s a flavour to satisfy everyone (us, they’ll satisfy us). Cult classic Robert Brownie Jr, tiramisu, hazelnut praline, super vanilla, dulce de leche, and Messina’s top-seller pistachio praline have all landed at Woolworths.

Clear space in the freezer because we’re going shopping.

But wait, there’s more.

Three ice cream cakes have also joined the range.
Tiramisu: A creamy Tiramisu cake with layers of coffee-soaked sponge dusted in cocoa powder.
Choc Malt Bavarian: A chocolate milk Bavarian cake with malt fudge, malt chantilly and shaved milk chocolate on a chocolate biscuit base.
Iced-Cocoa Bavarian: A coconut and raspberry Bavarian cake with raspberry gel and desiccated coconut on a coconut biscuit base.

It’s not the first Messina has blessed us with a supermarket exclusive – the now sold-out gelato bars were a hit in the frozen section back in 2020 and 2021, and a recent collab with Schweppes introduced the ultimate spider-mixer with gelato-inspired fizzy drinks.

Available only at Woolworths, the gelato tubs retail from $14.50, while the ice cream cakes will set you back $30, and land on Monday, October 14. For availability, check the Woolworths website.
