Another great has fallen quietly by the wayside, this time with the news that Banana Nesquik has been discontinued. Adult fans of drinking milk have taken to the internet to express their outrage and sorrow, as well as to share tips on where to find the gold dust.
So quiet was the cancelling of the banana flavour that many consumers hadn’t even noticed the product missing after it was discontinued way back in 2018. Strawberry and chocolate Nesquik are still available at major retailers but you’ll have to search pretty hard to find the road to El Dorado, er, banana-flavoured Nesquik.

One TikTok user @hollythebigbadloser posted a withering video on her channel letting Coles and Woolworths know just how disappointed she was that the flavour was no longer available. But all is not lost. The TikToker has revealed her secret source as Spudshed, a family-owned chain of supermarkets in Western Australia, who are still faithfully importing the goods from Swiss Nestle brand for a premium.
“Now, this is an import item from the UK so we’re going to pay a bit more than the $3.99 price tag on the Nesquik you (saw) at Coles and Woolies,” Holly said. Apparently, it’s worth splashing the cash. “I’m happy to pay this just for my banana-flavoured milk,” she said.
