Merten & Storck 5L 1873 Cast Iron Dutch Oven, $199.99, Amazon AU
While traditional cast iron is pretty hefty to hold, this Merten & Storck creation begs to differ. Proudly 30% lighter than is traditional, this kitchenware brand is made from a German enamelled iron, a material said to be a thinner and less brittle than the usual, but heats just as evenly and quickly (or so they say).
