The Smiths chip flavour that nobody asked for, Worcestershire Sauce, is back

Saucy news!

Smiths chips is sending us the best of British with the latest drop of UK-inspired crisps. Available exclusively at Aldi, the Worcestershire Sauce, Prawn Cocktail, and Cheese and Pickle packs won’t be around for long.

Spotted on @thegrocerygeek, the crinkle-cut crisps are about to fly off the shelves.

The most difficult to pronounce, Worcestershire Sauce, was last seen in 2023 and packs a punch with a bold, savoury blend of vinegar, molasses, and spices. It’s a proper treat for those who fancy a chip with a bit of zing.

Next up is Prawn Cocktail, another favourite making a splashy return. Inspired by the classic British starter that had a stranglehold on the 1960s, these chips are a blend of sweet tomato sauce and salty prawn flavour.

Rounding out the trio is a right proper snack, the Cheese and Pickle. Last seen on shelves in 2022, this chippie is part ploughman’s board, part crisp, all delicious.

The previous British invasion featured a bizarre Banger’s and Mash which is conspicuously missing this time around but we’re willing to overlook it if the UK range becomes a permanent feature in Australia.

Available in 150-gram packs for $3.49. Check the Aldi website for more details.\
