Buzz buzz! It's your past calling!
We know that Arnott’s knows a thing or two about biscuits – you don’t hit 160 years in business without a few tricks – so we’re sure that the newly introduced Treatles bite-sized chocolate snacks are going to be a tasty addition to the line up.
Where we do have some notes, however, is the blatant disregard for our multiple pleas to bring back a whole biscuit tin of the discontinued bickies we grew up with: starting with Honey Jumbles.
Of course, the Treatles’ layer of smooth milk chocolate, drizzled with dark chocolate, and crispy wafer filled with a soft caramel flavoured cream centre sounds pretty darn good right about now. What we want to know though, is when can we expect our peanut-loaded Quatros back in supermarkets?
And no, there’s nothing wrong with a convenient bag of little chocolate pods that you can share with your friends or scoff in one sitting with a cup of tea and a good series, as the new kid on the block promises. However we can’t say that we wouldn’t jump at a Bush Biscuit, thickly laden with butter and Vegemite. Whenever you’re ready, Arnott’s.

Okay, there’s a possibility we marked our calendars for early May when Treatles hit shelves at major supermarkets, for $6.00. And sure, there’s nothing wrong with knowing there are four different flavours – double chocolate, caramel, Neapolitan and mint – to choose from. But that doesn’t mean we’ve forgiven or forgotten our adored Adora Cream Wafers or any of the other biscuits we’ve lost.
The ball is in your court, Arnott’s!
