The drool-worthy menu will have everybody's tail wagging.
Treat your furry friend to a proper dog’s dinner with this new human and dog-friendly meal kit that caters to every member of the family.
The drool-worthy menu was developed by acclaimed chef Charlie Carrington from Atlas Dining in Melbourne in collaboration with pet-health company ilume for International Dog Day.
The special edition Dine With Your Dog box includes all the ingredients and instructions needed to create a three-course feast at home.
The human portion of the meal includes a seared beef salad for entree, a chicken parmigiana for main, and a chocolate brownie for dessert.
As for the canine cuisine, your hungry hound can expect beef jerky salad with homemade beef broth for entree, a puppy parmi for mains and a mutterly delicious carob brownie for dessert.

“We like to think we know our customers pretty well and know that about one in two of them are dog-owners, so creating a special event box they can enjoy with their entire family made sense to us,” Carrington says.
He launched his premium meal kit service, Atlas Weekly, during the Covid pandemic. While other chefs turned to takeaway, Carrington began making high-end meal kits which have since grown in popularity, despite a return to dining. The kits use chef-prepared sauces, spice mixes and dressings created in the restaurant kitchen.
“I think there’s a growing appetite for Australian made, premium meal subscription services – where price is naturally a factor, but doesn’t come at the cost of restaurant-quality ingredients and honouring food (and the industry) as a craft. That’s what has really set us apart,” he says.

The idea riffs off the Atlas Dining restaurant concept, which changes cuisine every three months. “Our hero meal kit, which we call our Destination Box, changes weekly, which gives our Atlas Travellers a sense of adventure and camaraderie each week. It’s like we’re all going on a trip together,” Carrington says.
“This box never repeats a dish twice – which means we’re constantly creating new recipes and trialling and testing new dishes.”
Right now, customers can choose between two delicious destinations – Greece which includes spanakopita and garlic chicken souvlaki, or China, which features Guandong chicken stir-fry and Guangzhou beef with rice noodles. Being a small-scale business, Carrington has the flexibility to adjust the menu according to feedback from his Facebook community group, Atlas Traveller.
“Travellers have asked us to start trialling faux meats, which we have actioned straightaway at our test kitchen in Richmond,” he says.
Atlas Weekly also release special occasion boxes, including the Dine with your Dog Kit which is available to purchase in ACT, NSW, Victoria and Queensland until August 19 for International Dog Day on August 26. Kits can be customised to include up to 4 people and up to 3 dogs with prices starting at $50. Ten dollars from each kit sold will be donated to animal welfare charity the Lost Dogs’ Home.
