So, which flavours got the boot?
Cadbury Roses is getting a revamp again, with new flavours and a new-look box set to hit stores by mid-July. The confectionery company has timed its announcement to coincide with World Chocolate Day, perhaps in the hope that we will all be too glutted with Top Deck to muster up any outrage.
So what’s changed? Cadbury wisely decided to keep Turkish Delight in the box (it’s the best – I’m calling it) but has axed Dark Mocha Nougat, White Raspberry and Hazelnut Crème Crisp. Taking their place will be returning old soft-centred favourites Orange Crème and Strawberry Crème, along with a new flavour: Passionfruit Delight.
Peppermint Crème Crunch has also been giving its marching orders, but for those who like their chocolate with a side of toothpaste, rest easy: it’s been replaced with a soft-centred Peppermint Crème.
The new Cadbury Roses will be available nationwide at all leading retailers from mid-July. You can also pick up a special-edition Heritage Pack, celebrating 75 years of Cadbury Roses, exclusively at Woolworths for a limited time only.
