Are supermarkets and bottle shops open over the King’s Birthday long weekend?

Are you on ice duty this King’s Birthday long weekend? Don’t get caught out on your way to the barbecue, here’s when major supermarkets will be open on the public holiday.

And just in case you need a refresher: this year, the public holiday falls on June 10 in all states except Queensland and Western Australia.

Western Australia celebrates the King’s Birthday with a day off on September 23 and Queensland celebrates the King’s Birthday on October 7.

Dan Murphy’s

Most Dan Murphy’s stores will open around the country at 10am and close between 6pm and 7pm. Check your local Dan Murphy’s online for more information.

BWS

Most BSW stores around the country will open between 9am and 10am and close between 6pm and 7pm.
