Australia, but make it ice cream.

Model and TV personality Tyra Banks has moved to Australia, and has brought her ice cream brand, SMiZE & DREAM, with her. To celebrate, she’s kicking things off with a special Time Travel Tasting Tour.

Ahead of the opening of the brand’s Darling Harbour flagship, the tasting tour has been popping up across Sydney, with each location offering ice-cream lovers a taste of a different era. The first station – The Past – popped up at The Rocks Square in January, and features scoops such as The Best Vanilla I Ever Had, Tyra’s Favourite, Wake Up & Smell the Crunchy and Strawberry BirthYAY! Cake.

The next stop on the tour is The Present, which popped up at Queen Victoria Building before moving to Broadway Shopping Centre. Here, you can try flavours like Miss CoCo Lamington – a tribute to the classic Australian treat with a SMiZE twist, created in collaboration with Tokyo Lamington. You can also taste the controversial G’day G’night – a salty-sweet creation featuring salted honey caramel ice cream, smoked sea salt and house-made crunchy Vegemite brittle. Yes, Vegemite in an ice cream. Don’t knock it til you’ve tried it.

The final stop on the tour is The Future, which opens tomorrow at Westfield Bondi Junction. It’s described as a “bold, experimental flavour experience designed to push you just a little out of your comfort zone”. So for those who found the Vegemite-in-ice-cream thing a bit much, you might wanna tread carefully here.

The three tasting stations are only open for a limited time. Keep an eye on the brand’s Insta page for location details and new flavour drops, or head to smize.com
