On May 29, 2019, delicious. was joined by a crowd of dessert lovers to officially launch its Bake Club. To celebrate, dessert rockstar Anna Polyviou, executive pastry chef at Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney, threw an indulgent party on the hotel’s 36th-floor Altitude restaurant. The ‘Punk Princess of Pastry’ curated a special menu to mark the occasion – handing out aprons and asking guests to smash up their desserts. With a DJ on the decks and a delicious array of snacks served throughout the evening, diners were treated to Anna’s incredible talents in true delicious. style. And, a selection of sparkling wines from Chandon were the perfect pairing to the inventive treats.
