Amelia's michelada pops
The perfect summer cocktail – frozen and fun!
Ingredients (8)
- 3 tsp soy sauce
- 1 1/2 tbs Maggi liquid seasoning
- 2 tbs Worcestershire sauce
- 680ml tomato juice
- 2 tsp Tabasco hot sauce, plus extra to serve
- 1 lime, cut into wedges
- 1/2 cup (41g) salt flakes
- 8 x 355ml bottles pale lager

1.To make the popsicles, combine soy, liquid seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, tomato juice and Tabasco in a large jug and divide among popsicle moulds. Cover mould tops with foil. Using a small, sharp knife, cut a small hole through the centre of foil and insert a popsicle stick into each mould. Freeze overnight.

2.When ready to serve, rub rims of serving glasses with a lime wedge. Place salt on a plate, dip glass rims into salt and set aside.

3.Remove popsicles from moulds and place in serving glasses (leave popsicles that aren’t being served immediately in freezer). Divide lager among glasses and serve immediately with remaining lime wedges and extra Tabasco.
Recipe Notes
Begin this recipe 1 day ahead. You will need 8 x 100ml popsicle moulds and 8 wooden popsicle sticks.
