Ingredients (5)

  • 3 oranges, thinly sliced
  • 700ml Archie Rose Signature Dry Gin
  • 575ml Carpano Antica Formula vermouth
  • 700ml Campari
  • Large ice cubes, to serve

Method

  • 1.
    Preheat oven to 90°C. Arrange orange slices in single layers on 2 wire racks, then place on baking trays. Bake, turning halfway, for 1 hour 40 minutes or until orange starts to dry out but still retains colour. Reduce oven to 70°C and bake for a further 20 minutes or until orange is completely dry. Cool, then transfer to an airtight container until ready to serve.

    To make the premix, combine remaining ingredients in a 2L-capacity container. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • 3.
    Pour 90ml premix over block ice in each glass. Serve with dried orange slices.
