Bay leaf and hibiscus cordial
This bay leaf and hibiscus Christmas cordial is a colourful, festive drink to be enjoyed all season long, perfect as a mixer for your favourite gin or vodka.
Ingredients (3)
- 50g hibiscus tea leaves (from tea and health food shops)
- 600g caster sugar
- 4 bay leaves
Don't forget you can add these ingredients to your Woolworths shopping list.

1.Place all the ingredients and 4 cups (1L) water in a medium saucepan over medium heat and cook, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves. Increase the heat to high and bring to the boil. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly. Strain into a jug, then transfer to 5-cup (1.25L) bottle. Seal and stand to cool completely
