Here are two ways to make a classic martini – dirty gin, or dry vodka.
Ingredients (9)
Dirty gin martini
- 60ml gin
- 15ml dry vermouth
- 5ml olive brine
- Ice cubes
- Pitted green olives, skewered, to serve
Dry vodka martini
- 60ml vodka
- 10ml dry vermouth
- Ice cubes
- Woolworths Lemon, to serve

1.For the dirty gin martini, place gin, vermouth and olive brine in a cocktail shaker and fill with ice cubes. Shake well, until chilled. Strain into a chilled martini glass and serve garnished with olives.

2.For the dry vodka martini, place vodka and vermouth in a cocktail shaker and fill with ice cubes. Stir well, until chilled. Strain into a chilled martini glass and serve with a twist of lemon. You can add a dash of bitters to the vodka if desired.
