Ferrero Rocher skillet brownies
Everyone’s favourite chocolate treat just got a whole lot better, incorporated into these delicious skillet brownies that are dangerously irresistible. You’ll need 4 x 8cm, 200ml-capacity skillets or 4 x 200ml ramekins for this recipe.
Ingredients (12)
- 80g unsalted butter
- 2 tbs cocoa powder
- 100g dark chocolate, chopped
- 150g (about 12) Ferrero Rocher chocolates, roughly chopped
- 2 tbs grapeseed oil
- 2 tbs Frangelico
- 2 eggs, plus 1 extra egg yolk
- 100g brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla bean paste
- 120g plain flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/3 cup (110g) dulce de leche, warmed, to serve

1.Preheat the oven to 180ºC/160°C fan-forced and grease 4 x 8cm, 200ml-capacity skillets.

2.Melt butter, cocoa, dark chocolate and 100g Ferrero Rocher in a heatproof bowl set over a pan of simmering water (don’t let bae of bowl touch the water). Set aside to cool.

3.Whisk oil, Frangelico, eggs, extra egg yolk, sugar and vanilla in a bowl. Sift flour and baking powder in a separate bowl, then fold chocolate mixture and egg mixture into flour mixture. Divide batter among prepared skillets and scatter with remaining 50g chopped Ferrero Rocher.

4.Bake for 10 minutes, or until slightly risen and just soft in the centre.

5.Drizzle with warm dulce de leche to serve.
