Garden salad with vinaigrette
Get your fill of greens from this French-style, crisp classic topped with a balsamic vinaigrette.

Ingredients (10)

  • 1/4 cup (60ml) chardonnay vinegar (see notes)
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 150ml olive oil
  • 1 bunch watercress
  • 50g rocket leaves
  • 250g punnet baby heirloom tomatoes
  • 1 bunch baby (Dutch) carrots, peeled
  • 1 bunch small radishes
  • Edible flowers (see notes)

Method

  • 1.
    Whisk together vinegar, garlic, mustard and oil, then season. Combine watercress, rocket, tomato, carrot and radish in a bowl.
  • 2.
    Add dressing and toss to combine. Top with edible flowers, if using, then serve.
