Parmesan and garlic bread
Ingredients (10)
- 1 small baguette
Garlic butter
- 125g unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup parsley leaves
- 3 cloves garlic
Herb butter
- 1 cup mixed chopped fresh herbs
- 3 eschallots, peeled, chopped
- 125g unsalted butter, softened
Capsicum butter
- 100g bought chargrilled capsicum
- 1 cup grated parmesan
- 250g unsalted butter, softened
Don't forget you can add these ingredients to your Woolworths shopping list.

1.Place ingredients for your chosen butter in a food processor. Process until well combined. Place in the centre of a piece of aluminium foil and use a knife or spatula to form a rough log shape. Roll the foil around the log and twist ends together to form a firm parcel. Freeze until ready to use.

2.Preheat oven to 180°C. To prepare the bread, transfer butter to the fridge for 10 minutes. Cut the baguette crossways into 2cm slices, not cutting right through.

3.Unwrap butter and cut into 1/2cm slices. Place a slice of butter between each bread slice. Wrap bread in aluminium foil, twisting ends to secure and bake for 10 minutes. Unwrap and bake for 2 minutes, to crisp.
