Iceberg wedges with blue cheese dressing
Easy to make and delicious to taste. This is the perfect no-fuss side for your next dinner party.

Ingredients (10)

  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 150ml sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons good-quality mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 40ml (2 tablespoons) olive oil
  • 20ml (1 tablespoon) balsamic vinegar
  • 20ml (1 tablespoon) lemon juice
  • 40g blue cheese, crumbled, plus a little extra crumbled cheese to serve
  • 1 firm iceberg lettuce, cut into 6 wedges
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives

Method

  • 1.
    Place the garlic, sour cream, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, lemon juice and blue cheese in a food processor.
  • 2.
    Process for a few seconds until just combined (don't over process as it's nice to keep some texture).
  • 3.
    Place a lettuce wedge on each serving plate, drizzle with the dressing and garnish with the chives and crumbled blue cheese.
  • 4.
    Serve as an accompaniment to steak or as a starter.
