Instant whiskey eggnog
Traditional eggnog is great but can take a while to slap together. This cheats version can be enjoyed warm or over ice as a refreshing dessert.
Ingredients (6)
- 1l vanilla ice cream, melted
- 3/4 cup whisky
- 1 tsp vanilla bean extract
- 1 tsp ginger, plus extra to serve
- 1 tsp cinnamon, plus extra to serve
- 1/2 tsp freshly grated nutmeg, plus extra to serve

1.Warm the ice cream in a saucepan over medium heat, but don’t heat too much or bring to a simmer.

2.Combine with remaining ingredients and divide between 4 x 300ml glasses. Top with extra spices and serve. Alternatively serve chilled over ice.
