Matcha 'ice cream' and black sesame crunch
An Asian-style frosty treat boasting unique colours and flavours.
Ingredients (7)
- 8 over-ripe bananas, peeled, chopped, frozen
- 2 ripe avocados
- 2 tsp matcha powder (from Asian food shops and health food shops)
- 2 tbs runny honey
- Juice of 1 lemon
To serve
- Toasted black sesame seeds
- Cacao nibs

1.Whiz the frozen banana, avocado, matcha powder, honey and lemon juice in a blender until smooth. Transfer to two 2 1/2-cup (625ml) loaf pans or one 5-cup (1.25L) loaf pan and freeze for 2 hours or until frozen. Combine sesame, cacao nibs and a pinch of salt flakes in a bowl and scatter over ice cream to serve.
