Rosé sangria

Get in the festive spirit with this summery sangria.
Ingredients (10)
- 1 cup of water
- 1 cup of sugar
- 2 1/2 cups pitted cherries
- 1 strawberry punnet
- 1 blueberry punnet
- 1/3 cup of cherry syrup
- 200ml pineapple juice
- 2 tbs vodka
- 750ml rosé
- Top up and garnish with lemonade, watermelon stars and blueberries

1.Combine 1 cup water and 1 cup sugar in a saucepan over high heat and stir until sugar dissolves. Bring to the boil, then reduce heat and add 2 1/2 cups pitted cherries. Simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat, cool completely and remove cherries using a slotted spoon. Combine 1 punnet strawberries (hulled, quartered) and 1 punnet blueberries. Add 1/3 cup cherry syrup, 200ml pineapple juice, 2 tbs vodka and 750ml rosé. Combine and chill. Divide among 8 glasses, top up with lemonade and garnish with watermelon stars and blueberries (threaded onto swizzle sticks).
