29 of the most epic Aussie travel experiences ever will livestream this weekend

West Macdonnell Ranges, Northern Territory, Australia

Say g'day to true blue travel gold.

Australian travel experiences are epic by nature, and now you can livestream all the best that this great southern land has to offer, non-stop, this weekend, courtesy of the legends at Tourism Australia.

Launched last week, the Live from Aus virtual travel program will treat isolation-bound Aussies (and the rest of the world) to a dose of mind-blowing Australian travel gold, every hour on the hour, for the entire weekend of May 16 and 17.

The program includes a host of incredible live foodie experiences that you’ll definitely want to mark your calendars for, including:

* Bondi Brekkie Bowls with Guy Turland
* Indigenous Ingredients with Jock Zonfrillo
* Cheesemaking with Jo Barrett & Matt Stone
* Australian Wines Stories with Unico Zelo
* Mate Date Dinner Party with Matt Moran
* The Great Aussie Brunch with Three Blue Ducks
* Sunday BBQ Lunch with Hayden Quinn
* Wine & Art Pairing with Chester Osborn at the d’Arenberg Cube

And it’s not just the foodies among us that are being invited to shake off the cabin fever. The program also includes sunrise yoga live from Byron Bay, a front row seat to Phillip Island’s iconic penguin parade, outback crocodile encounters, an underwater tour of the Great Barrier Reef, Kangaroo feedings, Dreamtime stories, sunset sessions from Uluru, a night at the Sydney Opera House, and even a dance party with the Wiggles.

“Australians may not be able to travel across our wide brown land at present,” said Tourism Minister Simon Birmingham, “but those who can should definitely be dreaming and planning to tick off some bucket list items when it’s safe do so.”

He added that Aussies could enjoy the time of their lives with a holiday at home, “while also helping to save the businesses or jobs of fellow Australians.”

The Live From Aus weekend of Aussie travel gold all kicks off with a one-hour broadcast titled The Love Australia Project at 7:30pm Friday May 15 on Network Ten.

The full program schedule is available to view at australia.com. RSVP via the Tourism Australia Facebook page.
