QT Auckland is one of the most highly-anticipated hotel openings of 2020, and in true QT style, it’s going to be one for the history books. The hotel chain is offering all New Zealand locals a chance to win a hotel room, with an epic five day treasure hunt.

But it’s not just one room they’re giving away. It’s all 150. That’s right, the entire hotel! There are 150 room keys to be found in special QT Auckland lock box posters around the city. To win, all that you need to do is crack the code.

There are 30 room keys to be found each day across the five days from Tuesday October 27th to Saturday October 31st, and each key will be rewarded with a one night complimentary stay. To join the hunt, just check the QT Auckland Staycay website each day for the code, and give the lock boxes a red hot shot.

Exact locations of the lock boxes are being kept under wraps, so the endeavour does require a little bit of real deal treasure hunting, however we have it on good authority that lock boxes can be found in the suburbs of Auckland CBD, Wynyard Quarter, Ponsonby, Grey Lynn, Newmarket and Kingsland.

There are 70 posters around Auckland and fifteen of those will contain lock boxes. One code will be released from 9.00am each day at qtauckland.com/staycay
