These Aussie spots are #popular.
Love it or hate it, objectively Bondi Beach is a stunning location. Tourists and Aussies alike flock to the iconic beachside spot come summer. From the iconic Bondi Icebergs Pool to watching the sunset from North Bondi, it’s hard to resist pulling your phone out and snapping a quick photo. According to a newly released study, this is what at least 1.93 million people did on Instagram, making it the most Instagrammed location in Australia.

The study gathered data around hashtag mentions on the social media platform and ranked which locations around the country were most snapped and hash-tagged. Following Bondi Beach, Sydney Opera House was hash-tagged 1.05 million times, and the Great Barrier Reef was hash-tagged in 1.03 million posts.
Keep in mind, that the data collated for the study only includes posts that were hash-tagged. So the true number of posts that feature these locations is much higher. Sydney spots dominated the top ten list, with other iconic locations from across the country.
