The best in the west has a new home.
Penrith’s first and highly anticipated five-star hotel is officially open. Pullman Sydney Penrith welcomes guests to 153 rooms and suites, a cutting-edge wellness and fitness centre, state-of-the-art conference centre, and, what we’re most excited for, Marcel Bar and Bistro and lobby bar, Tori. The new hot spot sits adjacent to the Western Sydney Conference Centre and Panthers Leisure and Entertainment Precinct on Mulgoa Road.
Taking up half of what was formerly Penrith Panthers RSL’s parking lot, this exciting new addition has taken the Panther Precinct to the next level. Locals and visitors alike have welcomed the hotel with loving arms, with its conference centre already booked weekly from now through to November.

Marcel Bar and Bistro is located on the first floor, atop a sweeping central staircase. The restaurant design is Bauhaus-inspired, the space is intimate and boasts a bar that has an open wine cellar from which you can select your wine, with the help of a sommelier, if you so choose.

The menu is European inspired and combines classic culinary techniques with the bountiful local produce available around Penrith. Executive Chef Colin Chun will be leaning on the excellent local producers and working with them closely to curate a menu that celebrates Western Sydney and elevates the local dining scene even further. Dinner highlights include a premium Angus steak, enjoyed best with a side of grilled broccolini and parmesan-topped fries.

“There are no shortcuts for us,” says Akshay Arora, Pullman Sydney Penrith, director of food and beverage. “We’re bringing back old-school hospitality with a touch of elegance, attention to detail, and also some really interactive experiences to enrich our guests’ experience.”

In the very unlikely case that Marcel’s dessert offering doesn’t satisfy your sweet tooth, Penrith’s iconic late-night Krispy Kreme is a hop, skip and jump away.
Lobby bar, Tori, is another exciting addition to the hotel. The ground floor bar will be a contemporary take on a traditional lobby bar, offering all-day light bites, coffee brewed from local coffee beans, pastries for breakfast and sundowners with the Blue Mountains as a backdrop. Bliss.

Brb, checking in.
