Merlin's beard!

Attention Harry Potter fans: Canberra’s iconic wizarding shop Quizzic Alley has finally opened its doors in Sydney.

Up until now, Sydneysider Potterheads had to hop on their trusty Nimbus 2000s and head to Canberra for a wizarding fix. But raise a butterbeer, because Sydney now has its very own Harry Potter store.

Quizzic Alley has taken up residence in an old bank building built in 1928 on Victoria Rd in Drummoyne, just in time for all your festive gifting needs. Similarly to Canberra’s Fyshwick store, you’ll find everything from sorting hats to Hogwarts house uniforms and collectible figurines to golden snitch replicas.

“The two stores are completely different from the outside and, although the merch we sell will be the same, the experience in Drummoyne will be new,” owner Michael Milton told the Canberra Times.

Quizzic Alley Sydney is open every day until Christmas at 191 Victoria Road, Drummoyne. For full details and to shop online, head to the store’s website and Facebook page.
