All chocolates sold here are created and produced by Maxime Frédéric, the award-winning Chef Pâtissier of the Cheval Blanc Paris. Frédéric is the grandson of a dairy farmer and a Normandy native. The patissier has his farm in Normandy where he cultivates a special type of hazelnut that is small in size but provides a more intense flavour than your standard hazelnut, which is used as an ingredient in Frédéric’s handcrafted chocolates. Ingredients not produced on his farm are meticulously sourced from small-scale cocoa farms from around the world.

Drawing on inspiration from Louis Vuitton’s most iconic motifs and style, Frédéric has created a centrepiece called Vivienne on Malle (trunk), which is inspired by the Vivienne music box. The chocolate creation also pirouettes, with the twist of a chocolate key. As if it were in an actual music box.

Among the chocolate offerings, the Damier-shaped Chocolate Tablets, Monogram Flower, Chocolate Bar and Filled Trunk Tablets take inspiration from Louis Vuitton’s Signature motifs.  A selection of chocolates will be staged like pieces of art atop a counter in the chocolate shop.

Specially for Valentine’s Day, Frédéric has also created the Filled Heart Saint Valentine comprising five heart-shaped chocolates in three delicate flavours: pistachio, almond and hazelnut, available in limited quantities.

You can find the new chocolate story at Louis Vuitton Island Maison, 2 Bayfront Avenue B1, Shop 36, Singapore. Its opening hours are 11am – 11.30pm. For more information, visit louisvuitton.com
