Good morning Upper East Siders.
The Waldorf Astoria will make its Australian debut in Sydney, with the Waldorf Astoria Sydney slated to open in early 2025.
Construction has already commenced on the 28-floor, 220 room luxury hotel, which will form a key part of AW One Circular Quay’s mixed-use development, One Circular Quay.

The 1 Alfred Street location is one of only a handful of prime harbourside sites in Sydney, so expect nothing less than jaw-dropping views of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House.

Alongside 179 guest rooms, 41 suites and a Waldorf Astoria Spa, the Waldorf Astoria Sydney will also house two new restaurants and a rooftop bar, where guests can truly soak up the gasp-worthy harbour vistas with drink in-hand.

The brand’s signature restaurant, Peacock Alley – named for the laneway that connected the original Waldorf and Astoria hotels in Park Avenue (and its constant parade of fashionable guests) – will also feature, along with the iconic Waldorf Astoria clock, which pays homage to the brand’s history.
